Of Special Note - The Court Jester Goby was first discovered in 1940 and has since become popular for home aquariums. It is a very shy fish and will not attack any of its tank mates. It is not known to grow larger than three inches in length.

This species likes having live rock to graze on, but it will also eat algae flakes and brine shrimp. It is rather territorial, so only one Court Jester Goby should be kept per tank. In some cases, a mated pair may spawn and their fry can be raised.
