Habitat - Tropical saltwater in shallow reefs

Behavior - Omnivore

Residency - Pacific Ocean

Of Special Note - The lemonpeel angelfish is one of the larger dwarf angelfish available. It has a body shape similar to other dwarf angelfish, but it gets to a slightly larger size and also has a distinct yellow and blue coloration. It requires a tank that is at least 30 gallons in volume, but would prefer something larger.

This species will eat both herbivore and carnivore prepared fish foods, although it will be just fine eating algae in your aquarium. Some claim that this species will nip at corals and clams, but this is a rare occurence, particularly if the fish is well fed. Unless you have a very large aquarium, it is not a good idea to keep two members of this species together since they are territorial.
