Cherry Cobbler Recipe

1 cup of flour
1/2 cup of sugar
A pinch of salt
2 tsp. of baking powder
1/2 cup of milk
2 tbsp. of butter
1 can of cherry pie filling OR 3 cups of pitted cherries and 1 cup of water mixed

Start out by melting the butter and placing it in a mixing bowl along with the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and milk. Mix the concoction until it is of smooth consistency, preferably using an electric mixer. Dump the batter into a greased cake pan and spread it around evenly. Preferably you should use a smaller cake pan of about 9" by 9", but you can do just as well with a 13" by 9" if you don't spread the batter all the way across the surface.

Dump the filling or cherries and water over the top of the batter to form a consistent layer. Preheat the oven to 400F and cook the cobbler for about 40 minutes. Once it is done, allow it to cool and enjoy! It should look something like this:
